INSURANCE: did you know many plans cover acupuncture?
Yes, I take insurance. Many plans cover acupuncture, and I’m happy to help you figure out what yours includes. Send me your insurance info when you book, and we’ll check your benefits before your first visit so there are no surprises.
I’m a New York State licensed acupuncturist trained in Classical Chinese Medicine, and a yoga teacher for 20+ years
For two decades I’ve watched how bodies move, where they get stuck, and what helps them let go.
My approach is simple: listen closely, treat precisely, and skip the mystique. You don’t need to buy into anything to walk in the door.
You just need to show up and be willing to lie still for a bit. (Harder than it sounds in this city, I know.)
MY APPROACH: CLASSICAL CHINESE MEDICINE
Classical Chinese Medicine goes back to the source texts. It’s an old, precise system for reading the body as one connected whole, not a list of separate parts and symptoms.
In practice, that means I’m not just chasing the spot that hurts. I’m looking for why it hurts: how you sleep, how you breathe, how you hold stress, how you move through your day. Then I treat the pattern, not just the pain.
WHAT I TREAT
Pain & Injury
Headaches
Neck, shoulder, and low back pain
Tight hips, cranky knees, and old injuries that never fully settled
Recovery support for athletes, dancers, and yogis who push hard
Stress, Mood & Sleep
Stress, tension, and that wired-but-tired feeling
Anxiety
Depression
Trouble sleeping
Digestive & Women’s Health
Digestion that’s just a little off
Menstrual irregularities
And everything in between
General tune-ups: the “nothing’s broken, but something’s off” visit
Not sure if acupuncture is right for what you’re dealing with? Reach out here. I’ll give you a straight answer.
A quick note: I’m an acupuncturist, not an herbalist. Treatment here is needles, hands, and practical guidance. No herbal formulas. If herbs make sense for you, I’m happy to point you to someone I trust.

FAQ
-
Usually not much. Acupuncture needles are about as thin as a hair, nothing like the needles at the doctor’s office. You might feel a small pinch, a dull ache, or a warm, heavy feeling. Most people are surprised by how relaxing it is.
-
Yes. I’m licensed by New York State, and I only use sterile, single-use needles that get tossed after every treatment.
-
Nope. Just come in with an open mind and an honest account of how you’re feeling.
-
It depends on what’s going on and how long it’s been going on. Some people feel a shift after one visit. Longer-standing issues usually take a series, often once or twice a week to start, then spacing out as things improve. We’ll set a plan together after your first session.

Yes. Send me your plan info when you book and I’ll help you check your coverage.
-
No. I’m an acupuncturist, not an herbalist. If herbal medicine makes sense for you, I’ll refer you to a practitioner I trust.
